CORRSYS 3D Sensors

CORRSYS 3D Sensors - Non-Contact, Slip-Free Optical Rail Sensors

CORRSYS 3D Sensors AG is the leading developer of CORREVIT® sensors for rail applications and industrial process control. CORRSYS develops intelligent and slip-free optical sensors for dynamic data measurement such as distance / length, speed, acceleration, drift, slip and texture-classification.

CORREVIT® technology has proven successful for decades in the automotive industries. We have now applied this skill and expertise to the rail industry.

OPTICAL RAIL SENSORS

CORREVIT® technology offers optimal measurements for ETCS, high-speed trains, metro lines, trams and lower-cost upgrades for old trains and locomotives.

Our optical rail sensors offer slip-free, precise and direct measurements of distance and speed, using the railhead as reference, even under extreme applications or climatic conditions such as snow and ice.

TRACK BED-INDEPENDENT APPLICATION

All CORREVIT® sensors can be used for a track bed-independent application.

As a consequence, the CORREVIT® sensor meets all the demands for high objective measurement of parameter change, with an adjustable filter time of 8msec to 512msec.

Braking distance and acceleration data will be precisely documented in constant use or in-service checks. Inbuilt reliability allows complete flexibility to optimise your testing requirements.

MEASURING LONGITUDINAL DYNAMICS ON RAIL VEHICLES

CORREVIT’s RAIL sensor provides slip-free, permanent measurement of longitudinal dynamics on rail vehicles. Mounted on the bogie, this sensor guarantees highly precise results, in reference directly to the rail head surface. The RAIL sensor is designed for ETCS.

Features include:

  • Large velocity range - 0.2kph to 400kph
  • New external DSP electronic with 800 pulses per minute
  • Standstill and direction detection
  • Illumination by long-life, high-power infra-red LEDs
  • Infinitely variable soiling indication
  • Optic cleanliness detection for highest functionality

CORREVIT® L-400 RAIL SENSOR

The CORREVIT L-400 Rail stands out due to its large working distance and operating range. This advantage makes the L-400 ideally suited for use with rail vehicles for measurements over evenly filled track bed, or for more precision the railhead surface, as a reference.

CORREVIT® L-400 Rail offers an extended operation distance of 400mm ± 130mm. It also has a wide speed range - from 0.5kph to 250kph. The precise gratings and digital signal processing allow for extremely high measuring accuracy. The durable technology means that the sensor requires negligible service and maintenance.

CORREVIT® LF-200 RAIL SENSOR

The LF-200 is designed for direct measurement of distance and speed on trams, and micro-slip registration. With micro-slip registration, the CORREVIT® Rail sensor looks to the rail while the CORREVIT® LF-200 sensor measures the steel tyre. As a result, the technical data is reliable and meets all demands for objective measurement of micro-slip.

Benefits of the LF-200 rail sensor include:

  • Speed measurement up to approximately 0.2kph to 120kph (opt. < 200kph)
  • Improved functions by use of new DSP technology
  • Lighting by long-life, high-performance infra-red LEDs
  • Signal output: digital 1.000 pulses per minute, TTL

DAS-2AD/24V DATA ACQUISITION / EVALUATION

The DAS-2AD/24V data acquisition and evaluation system is designed for use with our proven CORREVIT sensors. The measured data that is recorded at the test track can be immediately evaluated during the test.
