Automatic portable warning device (APWD)

Portable ProTracker track crew warning device

The ProTran1 Portable ProTracker is a secured wireless device used to alert track work crews of an approaching train, to provide optimal workforce protection. The Portable ProTracker is lightweight, user friendly, and takes only seconds to set up.

The personal alert device and portable warning horn / light communicates with the portable train detector. Once a train is detected a secured alarm is sent to the workers that a train is approaching, giving the work crew time to clear the tracks. The unit is equipped with several redundancies and failsafe health checks to ensure proper operation.

The Portable ProTracker can also be fitted with options to detect train direction and speed.

Alert devices for personnel near track

The ProTran1 ProTracker train device (TD) is designed to be mounted in the cab of a train. The train operator will be audibly and visually alerted of personnel near the train tracks who are wearing the ProTracker personal alert device (PAD) or using the portable warning light / horn (PWLH). These devices are meant to give the train operator an advance warning of dangers ahead.

High voltage rail LED lights and testers

ProTran1 manufactures a range of high voltage LED lights from 600VDC to 30kV that are ideal for any railway's testing needs.

Catenary voltage tester

The ProTran1 ProCaT catenary voltage tester was designed to give transit workers the ability to safely verify the presence of voltage on overhead catenary systems. The ProCaT has a digital voltage meter to indicate from up to 1,000VDC. The unit has several redundancies to ensure performance.
