Special mention for MER MEC at Confindustria Awards for Excellence in Italy

Excellence as the key strength for competitive and sustainable growth, creation of business value, country development - that was the theme of the Confindustria Awards for Excellence that aimed to reward the "excellent" company members of the Italian Industry Association (Confindustria).
The prize's winners were named on 12 December 2006 by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, president of Confindustria. More than 400 participants applied for the three categories of the contest:
- Champion of Territory Development
- Champion of Italian-made Goods
- Champion of Innovation
MER MEC was awarded the prize in the Champion of Innovation category. This prize represents a remarkable result for MER MEC, testifying the company's ability to innovate, gaining unique competitive advantages.
