Invensys Rail has announced the appointment of two senior executives in the UK, with Ana Santos joining the company as VP for Finance and IT and Andy Lewis taking on the role of Director of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability.
A qualified chartered accountant, Ana studied Economics at Autonoma University of Lisbon and has held senior financial roles with a number of companies in the rail industry, including Bombardier and Metronet. Most recently she was Director of Finance and IT for the Ametek Airtechnology Group.
Andy has over 20 years' experience in environment and health and safety, having held safety-critical roles in both the aviation and nuclear industries. Prior to joining Invensys, Andy was Director of Health, Safety and Environment and Director of Aviation Safety with Serco plc.
Commenting on the appointments, Invensys Rail's UK President, Nick Crossfield, said: "I'm delighted that Ana and Andy have joined the company at such an exciting time in its development. They each bring a wealth of experience and expertise, which will be invaluable to the business, and I look forward to working with them both as we continue to develop our mainline and mass transit operations across the UK and northern Europe."
