Union Switch & Signal Secures Contract with WMATA

Union Switch & Signal (US&S) has been awarded a contract to supply their proven AF-800W system to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA). This $9M project is a continuation of the successful track replacement contract between WMATA and US&S, which is scheduled for completion in early 2006. US&S will be replacing existing Alstom/GRS track circuit modules at 22 locations on multiple lines in and around central Washington, DC.
