TICS was established in 1998 and offers a team focused on the delivery of signalling design, signal works testing and final commissioning of signalling projects.

TICS has a head office in Doncaster and two further offices in York and Crewe, which service the UK 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

TICS work on the principle that no job is either too big nor too small. We can manage and carry out all manner of works, ranging from a minor job such as the provision of a new signal or track circuit, right through to carrying out all signalling design and test aspects of a medium size re-signalling scheme.

WIDE AND VARIED CUSTOMER BASE

The TICS' customer base is wide and varied. Below are details of some of projects that TICS have delivered to date.

TICS were responsible for the design, test and commissioning on the £10 million, 15 stage Bescot remodelling for GrantRail and the interface scheme at Bedford Cauldwell for Lionverge.

TICS have also worked on nationwide point conversions, relaying and remodelling. Clients including Carillion, Jarvis, Ove ARUP, GrantRail and Lionverge have worked with TICS on a range of design, test and commissioning projects.

TICS have completed level crossing renewal / conversions at Cove (CCTV) / Moulinearn (MSL) for First Engineering, Cottage Lane (AHB) / Little London for GrantRail, Bardon Mill / Markle for Jarvis, and Watford North for Carillion. At Melton Mowbray (for GrantRail), Caerphilly (for First Engineering) and Wrawby (Jarvis), TICS have carried out electro mechanical alteration and resignalling design, test and commissioning.
