A complete handhelds family allows all railway personnel, on train and along the rails, to access the GSM-R network for voice and data communications, assuring reliability and flexibility at low cost.

• RGG100, General Purpose Handheld, is the professional terminal for general railway use; small, light and compact, it offers all features of an advanced GSM phone, being also a sophisticated EIRENE GPH compliant working tool
• ROG100 is the Operational Purpose Handheld; EIRENE OPH compliant, it provides operating personnel with GSM-R communications in all environmental conditions requiring resistance to water, humidity, dust and shocks
• RSG100 is the Operative Shunting Handheld, dedicated to the shunting staff - it is a reliable tool for communications in tough environments and adverse climate conditions, with a simplified MMI for easy operations

GSM-R MODEMS

Selenia Mobile proposes several advanced solutions to meet the growing demand for reliable and high-speed wireless access to GSM-R networks from anywhere. All the proposed equipment supports Advanced Speech Call Items (ASCI) phase 2+, CS and PS (GPRS) data transmission and EIRENE / MORANE services.

• RGM100, Radio General Module, is the ideal solution for improving railway business as it creates new powerful applications; a very small size, it is the first OEM general purpose module supporting ASCI phase 2+, CS and PS data transmission and EIRENE / MORANE services
• ESVM100, External Serial Voice Modem, is the first external modem for M2M applications in the GSM-R band allowing voice, data and fax transmission and supporting EIRENE / MORANE services
• PCMCIA100, GSM-R modem card, is the first radio modem card in the GSM-R band, allowing voice, data and fax transmission and supporting EIRENE / MORANE services

GSM-R RAILWAY MOBILE MODULES AND CAB RADIOS

For ground to train links, Selenia Mobile proposes the new Radio Mobile Modules generation, dedicated to on-board and land-based applications.

• RMM2200, RMM2300 and RMM4200 fully comply with EIRENE / MORANE features for vehicular radio modules, including ASCI phase 2+; RMM2200 and RMM2300 are to be integrated inside CAB radios, allowing voice and data communications and ETCS support; RMM2300 also supports GPRS; RMM4200 is designed for land-based stationary applications such as stations and control sites
• GTM2300 is a light version of GSM-R CAB radios - it provides voice and data transmission for on-board applications in a portable module, fully compliant to EIRENE / MORANE recommendations
• GFT 2300 is the 8W telephone for ground applications, fully compliant to EIRENE / MORANE recommendations

GSM-R PORTABLE TESTING TOOL

Trace Mobile 100 is a powerful testing tool for real-time network analysis, allowing network reliability tests and network optimization during both normal operations and network expansions or maintenance. Trace Mobile 100, available on handhelds, modules and modems, is able to collect network significant parameters and report them through a serial line to a PC application.
