SINGLE SECTION DIGITAL AXLE COUNTER DACF 700 A/AP

The single section digital axle counter is the latest model of axle counters for detecting the presence of a train in any specified track section based on the principle of axle counting. The system can be used for all types of track circuiting / block proving applications in railways.

DACF-700A/AP trackside equipment comprises axle detectors and electronic counting units. When a train passes, it counts and stores the number of axles by means of software at either end of the section. The counts are compared and when they become equal, the track section is shown clear. Its applications include:

• Block working
• Intermediate block signalling
• Auto signalling
• Loop line
• Main line
• Platform lines

The stationmaster has LED indication of track status (clear / occupied) and a reset facility for maintenance.

UNIVERSAL AXLE COUNTER ACS - 55/56/57

The universal axle counter is a conventional and economical low cost axle counter. The system is used for all types of track circuiting including point zones. The system can also be deployed on single and double line block sections.

Track side electronic junction boxes generate carrier signals of 5kHz which are independently fed to the rail mounted TX and RX coils at the entry and exit detection points of each section. When the train passes over a detection point the carrier signal generates 'in counts' and 'out counts'. The stored counts are compared in the evaluator and if found equal, the track section is shown clear.

AXLE COUNTER BLOCK SYSTEM DBS-245B/SBS-247A

Axle Counter Block Systems (ACBS) are used for operation of trains on single and double line block sections. ACBS is a modern electronic signalling system designed with CMOS IC Circuits. The equipment consists of:

• Universal axle counter
• Multiplexer
• Station master panel
• Pre wired rack with Q type interlocking relays

The ACBS system uses 1½Quad PET cable and works on the principle of one line clear and one train movement in block section. The line clear is automatically indicated on the stationmaster panel. 'Train on line' and 'line closed' conditions are achieved automatically by train movement through the block section.

MULTI SECTION DIGITAL AXLE COUNTER MSDAC 730

The MSDAC 730 is hardware and software based signalling equipment for the simultaneous detection of track vacancy over several lines in a station or yard including point zones. The MSDAC system can be configured for up to 40 detection points specific to the station or yard. The application of the system for simultaneous monitoring includes:

TRAIN ACTUATED WARNING DEVICE - TAWD 62/63

TAWD is an audiovisual warning device for safe passage at Level Crossings (LC) and is essential for road users and also for train operation. The TAWD has been designed to provide warning to road users in advance of the train reaching the LC Gate. The TAWD 62/63 consists of:
