Verint Expands its Market Presence with New Video Partner in France

WEYBRIDGE, Surrey, July 31, 2006 - Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT), a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence, today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with SLE, providers of video surveillance systems for urban transport networks in France.
SLE specialises in the design, development, installation and maintenance of Real Time Vehicle Location and Passenger Information Systems for urban public transport networks. Under the terms of the agreement, SLE will hold the exclusive rights for the distribution of Verint's Mobile Video Solutions in France.
Verint Security Solutions enable government and commercial organisations to enhance security by applying advanced content analytics to extract actionable intelligence from video, audio and other data. By alerting personnel to potential security threats, Verint's Security Solutions are designed to help organisations prevent security breaches and improve response time.
