Tracksure wins Rail-Tech Innovation Award

Tracksure's patented nut locking device has been awarded the prestigious Rail-Tech® Europe 2007 Innovation Award for being the most innovative product with significant market potential. The award was presented to Tracksure's managing director, Gerhard Dodl, on 28th March at the Rail-Tech® Europe 2007 Exhibition in Utrecht.
Tracksure beat off major European competition to be shortlisted for the final three by the international jury. They were announced as the winner at a special presentation held at the Media & Innovation Square, where all nominated entrants were showcasing their products as part of the exhibition.
Gerhard Dodl said: "I am ecstatic to receive such a prestigious award. We have only recently launched our product in the rail industry, but already we have had a tremendous response. We have won this award with the support of ProRail, Strukton and our Netherlands distributor, ETS Spoor."
The award winning nut locking device has been developed by Tracksure to eliminate nut loosening caused by vibration. The patented technology behind the product is both ingenious and very simple. The device can be used with many different track and rolling stock applications and it offers a significant safety and maintenance benefit to operators, the public and those responsible for track and rolling stock maintenance.
