Sroubarna Kyjov - Hot-Formed Rail Fasteners

Sroubarna Kyjov is a traditional Czech manufacturer of hot-formed rail fasteners founded in 1950. Since then we have earned the position of a notable producer of fastening materials, gaining a monopolistic position in the Czech Republic, with 80% of the export share.

Our advantages lie mainly in long-term tradition, excellent quality of products and technology, superior knowledge of our staff and competitive prices. The core of our business is the production of screw spikes in accordance with customers' drawings, T-head bolts, bolts for track and nuts.

We can deliver zinc plated (with yellow or blue chromate) and hot dip galvanised products, with or without a surface treatment. Our screws always fasten!

SCREW SPIKES (SLEEPER SCREWS) WITH WOOD SCREW OR TRAPEZOIDAL THREAD

We produce and deliver screw spikes to fasten rail track, with wood screw or trapezoidal thread classes 4.6, 5.6 and 8.8. Screw spikes are used in the fastening of concrete or wooden sleepers. Hot-formed screw spikes are produced according to our customers' drawings and follow the UIC 864-1 technical and delivery conditions.

T-HEAD AND TRACK FASTENING BOLTS

T-head bolts for track fastening are produced with cold-formed threads according to our customers' specifications. Sroubarna Kyjov produces T-head bolts in 4.6, 5.6 and 8.8 property classes. These screws conform to the UIC 864-2V standard.

Bolts for track are produced according to the works standards or customer drawings, with metrical thread. Bolts for track include fish screws or screws for point.

HEXAGONAL AND SQUARE, BLACK AND BRIGHT NUTS

Our program also covers a production of hexagonal and square nuts with either a black or bright modification and metric or Whithworth thread. Size of nuts range from M16 to M36 and from grades 4 to 10. Nuts are produced in line with customer drawings.

In 1996 Sroubarna Kyjov was certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by the Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Company, and our up-to-date certificate is valid until 2008.

Our company has also been named as a preferred supplier to the German railway group DB AB. Related to this ranking, the company has gained the Q1 supplier certification by the German railway.

Furthermore, a number of our products have also been approved by other European railways, including the Spanish and Swiss railways.
