Technical and quality manager at Fidax Foundry, Gerry Murphy, commented that Fidax had never had such a successful audit. "We have focused very directly on finding potential for errors utilising FMEA practices. That allows us to fix problems before they exist."
Lloyds register auditor Stephen Todd said in his report, "the feedback from customers is positive and based on long term relationships with key customer satisfaction with the products and service is being achieved. The performance in achieving and bettering the defined KPI's is impressive. Improvement activities are on-going and have been responsible for the significant reduction in product non conformance rates."
