RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE SURVEY AND DESIGN

Tritech Rail is at the cutting edge of technological advances in the respective fields of survey and design, utilizing a variety of equipment, including Leica GRP3000 and GRP5000 trolleys. We are involved in all infrastructure surveying and geospatial engineering activities, including:

From any survey data, including traditional Level, Hallade and Theodolite surveys, Tritech is able to undertake designs utilizing various software applications, including industry recognized MX Rail and Laser Rail Clear Route. Our design service encompasses all areas of infrastructure design, from outline through to detail engineering design:

RAILWAY ENGINEERING SERVICES

We have considerable experience and knowledge delivering a range of services, which include the following:

PERMANENT WAY ENGINEERING RENEWALS AND MAINTENANCE

Track / infrastructure inspections, condition assessments and reports, including: S&C; specification development; geotechnical engineering - surveys, trial holes, embankment / ground assessment; on-site technical support; creation of tamping files (ALC, etc.) and thermoplastic track geometry marking.

GAUGING - RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE MEASUREMENT

Combining our expertise in surveying and the use of modern gauging techniques, 2D laser profilers, 3D laser scanners and advanced 3D survey equipment, we are able to undertake all aspects of gauging, including platforms, structures, bridges and tunnels.

Utilizing Laser Rail software, we are able to undertake structure and passing clearance assessments for existing and new rolling stock, feasibility studies and provide innovative design solutions for existing compatibility and the introduction of any new freight and passenger stock. We can assess and recommend the introduction of new systems and technology for providing advanced solutions to gauging problems.

Tritech Rail also provides datum plating, stepping distance calculations and detailed structure monitoring of platforms, bridges and tunnels.

RAIL PROJECT SERVICES

These services include: project management; Project and Possession Planning (PPS); route feasibility and line speed improvements.

RAILWAY SAFETY AND TECHNICAL TRAINING

Tritech Rail can provide a full range of RTAS-approved track safety courses, including RIMINI planner training, work-place assessments, safety audits, etc.

In addition, we provide technical training to graduates and technical staff in the rail industry. Courses can be undertaken at our training school, or alternatively at the customer's premises.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND EXPERT WITNESS
