British Consultant Developing Albanian Railways

Scott Wilson has recently been appointed by the Government of Albania to review and develop proposals to modernise and re-equip Albanian Railways (HSH). Albania is enjoying good economic growth but the railway is relying on old equipment to run infrequent services on the complete network.
The Government of Albania has recognised the need for future investment and has attracted proposals for system and rolling stock renewal. Scott Wilson will help the Government of Albania develop a five-year plan inluding new investment and re-equiment. The work includes specifying new targets to be achieved by the railway and a detailed plan to achieve these goals.
