KCRC's Fourth Rail Harbour Crossing Awarded to Scott Wilson Railways

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) has awarded the scheme design consultancies for the Shatin to Central Link, a new 18km rail line which will link the New Territories to Hong Kong Island.
As Lead Consultant Scott Wilson Railways has been selected to carry out scheme design for SDC500, the Fourth Rail Harbour Crossing which will be an immersed tube tunnel or bored tunnel connecting the Kowloon peninsula with Hong Kong Island.
The consultancy commenced in mid-February 2003 and is scheduled for completion in February 2004.
