The modernisation of 500km of Polish railway in the E30 corridor, which connects large parts of Eastern Europe.
COWI was responsible for the strategic feasibility study for the railway modernisation project known as Rail Baltica - an infrastructure project sponsored by the European Commission.
In Saudi Arabia, a 2,400km railway project known as the North-South Railway is being implemented. COWI was in charge of the overall project design review.
Alnabru, one of Norway's largest container terminals. COWI is responsible for terminal layout and civil works, simulation of rail traffic, road traffic and terminal handling system.
COWI was responsible for the overall design coordination, project and construction management of 21km of a driverless metro system in Copenhagen, including 10km underground and 11km surface sections with 22 stations in total.
