Today, Bailey Rail has developed into a market leader in the design and installation of electrical, mechanical and communications systems and services for the UK rail infrastructure industry.

From beginnings as a traditional M&E subcontractor, Bailey Rail has also developed into a principal contractor on many projects.

Bailey Rail is a market leader in the design and installation of electrical, mechanical and retail telecom services for a wide range of station projects, from the most remote rural halts to the busiest mainline termini locations. Electrical, mechanical and communications systems for depots

Bailey Rail has delivered the design and installation of a diverse range of electrical, mechanical and communications systems at over 50 Network Rail (TOC-leased) and London Underground depots and traincare facilities across the UK. Our teams are fully conversant in working within the depot environment and liaising closely with depot staff in the planning and delivery of operations.

As with stations, we can act equally in the role of principal contractor and specialist sub-contractor. Our experience extends from the build of complete new facilities to the modification of minor refuelling pipework and a range of disciplines inbetween, including:

Bailey Rail’s lineside teams are fully capable of designing, installing and commissioning electrical and telecoms installations efficiently and safely within the safety critical lineside environment. We have particular experience of working on high-speed lines (most notably the West Coast Main Line). As with all other Bailey Rail operations we equally undertake the role of principal contractor and specialist sub-contractor and our clients include Network Rail and main contractors.

Electrical and telecommunications systems for OLE, p-way and signalling works

Bailey Rail does not deliver OLE, p-way or signalling works but does provide electrical and telecommunications services associated with these systems.
