RELAY INTERLOCKING COURSES

Our rail relay interlocking course will enable competent functional testers (3BL) to test route relay interlockings constructed in accordance with the BRS-SW-67 typical circuits.

This course includes modules on understanding circuits, route interlocking and sectional route interlocking, points interlocking and interface, route normalisation, circuit testing and understanding exercises, and understanding how the circuits relate to signalling principles and control tables.

This course contains significant practical exercise time on a working interlocking at our training centre. It also includes theory and practical examinations to demonstrate skills gained.

SIGNALLING DESIGN COURSES

Our range of signalling design courses have all been newly written to reflect current principles, technology and workplace needs.

Our design training is based upon current Railway Group and Network Rail Company standards, supplemented by best practice guidance where these are unclear. However, we encourage a deep understanding of the principles and how they mitigate risks, rather than unquestioning adherence to standards or completion of boxes.
