PMProfessional Learning is hosting its fifth free rail industry seminar entitled 'Best Practice and Complex Rail Projects – Is Current Guidance Too Much, Not Enough or Just Right?'

Implementing successful project management within complex rail projects is a unique challenge. In this seminar we will explore the competency and maturity of project management implementation within the industry, the role of project and programme governance in improving standards, the need for flexibility in managing complex projects, and the importance of rail projects.

The event, which will take place on the morning of 13th October 2006 at The Royal Institute of British Architects in London, is supported by the Association for Project Management (APM).

The seminar will be presented by leading project management practitioners and consultants including Martin Powell, Head of Project Management Framework for Network Rail, David Sutton, Head of Lend Lease Projects, Harvey Maylor, lecturer at the Cranfield School of Management, and Geri de Bijl, Director of Project Management for GrantRail.
