PMProfessional is to host a free seminar exploring the benefits of enterprise programme and portfolio management for the rail industry.
The seminar, entitled 'Adding Value with Enterprise Programme and Portfolio Management', is supported by Network Rail, the Association for Project Management (APM), the Centre for Rail Skills (CFRS) and the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE).
It will be presented by leading project management practitioners and consultants, including David Howarth, Head of Major Projects for Transport for London, Ruth Murray-Webster, Managing Partner for Lucidus Consulting, Geoff Reiss, Director of Strategy for The Program Management Group plc, James Couper, Programme Manager for Network Rail and Paul Naybour, Managing Consultant for PMProfessional Learning.
“Many organisations are implementing enterprise project management solutions that aim to support both programme and portfolio management, but what benefits do these systems bring, and at what cost?”, asks Julia Johnson, Managing Director of PMProfessional Learning. “This seminar will attempt to answer these questions in the context of the rail industry,” explains Julia.
The event will take place on the morning of 18 March 2005 at The Royal Institute of British Architects in London.
