CC Engineers - Railway Engineering TrainingCC has a dedicated railway training division to cater for the training needs of mechanical, electrical, traffic and engineering (civil) departments of railways. The company has its own factory and software development centre in Pune and has offices located at ten geographically distributed locations across India. These offices provide uninterrupted services and training at a local level. CC provides customised blended learning solutions after studying the training needs of an organisation. The solutions provided consist of simulation software, simulation hardware, e-learning software courses on a learning management system platform compatible to AICC / SCORM standards, cut sectional models, wall charts, and educational video films. CC also has over 500 off-the-shelf e-learning products for training in basic vocational and engineering skills. LOCO AND EMU TRAINING SYSTEMSCC railway training equipment includes the following:
CC offers training for various types of diesel and electrical locomotives. Training systems, resources and teaching aids for EMUs / MEMUs are also available. We offer training in maintenance, troubleshooting and operations using computer-based multimedia software and full-scale loco replica models. The scope of learning covers lubrication, cooling, electrical control, fuel oil and locomotive testing systems. RAIL BRAKING TRAININGCC rail braking training includes training for a range of different train brakes. These include vacuum brakes, air brakes, electro-pneumatic and computer-controlled brakes for locomotives, carriage and wagons. Skill training in brake maintenance and fault finding is implemented using a blended learning approach consisting of e-learning and hands-on skill training equipment. Simulation techniques are used for fault creation, diagnosis and training in remedial action. Physics-based high-fidelity graphic and sound systems are employed in these simulators. COACH MAINTENANCE TRAININGCoach maintenance training includes training modules and simulators for air-conditioned coaches and refrigerated vans. Data acquisition systems allow experimentation for research activities in coach comfort cooling. CC signals and telecom training systems include training modules for colour light and semaphore signalling. Train control systems, such as computer-based Solid State Interlocking (SSI), Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) and anel interlocking are covered. Anti-collision devices, AWS and other modern collision-avoidance system training can be provided. TRAFFIC OPERATION AND BLOCK SYSTEM TRAININGTraffic operation training includes training in absolute block system and automatic block system on single and double lines. Customised training modules can be designed to suit local systems or rules. SAFETY AND DISASTER MANAGEMENTCC safety and disaster-management training modules cover accident relief, disaster preparedness and mitigation measures, Emergency health management and other trainers. This training is provided using computer-based techniques including simulators for logistics management. Operation of relief equipment, 140t cranes and re-railing equipment is also covered. Training laboratories for core skills training are designed and installed on a turnkey basis for mechatronics (including pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, microprocessors, PLC, automation, welding and metrology).
