New Managing Director
Mr Alf Sandström, presently Managing Director and co-owner of ISOFLEX AB, a leading manufacturer of insulation for passenger rail vehicles, today announced the appointment of Mr. Thomas Vissgården as his successor as Managing Director of the company. The transition will become effective on March 1, 2004.
Mr Vissgården, 43, an engineer by profession, joins Isoflex AB after having served as Group Marketing Director of HAKI AB, a major manufacturer of scaffolding systems, hoists and other building related products. Previous to the Haki employment, Mr Vissgården was Managing Director and partner at the company Malmqvist High Climber AB in Borlänge. Malmqvist is a leading manufacturer of rack and pinion driven mast climbers for the construction industry. Mr Vissgården has also gained valuable manufacturing industry experience at Dellner-Malmco AB, Vika, Falun where he was General Manager. He is married and lives in Falun.
Later in 2004, a Production Manager to succeed Mr Bo Eriksson will be recruited.
New Board of Directors
The appointment of Mr. Vissgården allows the present owners, Managing Director Mr Alf Sandström and Production Manager Mr Bo Eriksson, to take up full time directorships but to continue to serve the company in advisory capacities. The Board will be augmented by four external directors and minority shareholders.
All changes are expect to be completed by March 1, 2004
Isoflex AB is the manufacturer of the passenger rail coach and translucent window insulation ”Moniflex”. The company Headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located at Gustafs, Sweden, 220km north of Stockholm. The company has 23 employees and an annual turnover of approx. EUR 3.Million, of which 80% is being exported.
