SHUNTER TRAINING AND HEALTH AND SAFETY

With a dedicated health and safety manager team, Interclean has shown its uncompromising approach to safety in the workplace.

Interclean has developed a bespoke H&S induction programme for all members of staff and – equally importantly – tailor-made safety briefings that cover all aspects of the work and potential dangers that staff may encounter.

Closely associated with H&S, the dedicated in-house shunter training team provide excellent driving and shunting assessment and tuition to current and would-be train and bus shunters . This requirement is particularly essential in bus and coach garages and enables Interclean to train and authorise staff to drive without draining the client's resources.

Approved by their entire client's training departments, Interclean driver trainers have had success in preventing and limiting accidents and have the responsibility to ensure there are sufficient qualified shunters each night to provide smooth run ins.
