Although a range of ready devices are available, Mitron specializes in custom designs to suit the specific requirements of the train operator.

ANNOUNCEMENT SYSTEMS FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Mitron's announcement system is a modular design flexible enough to suit a variety of environments. Automated announcements and / or conductor's messages are clearly transmitted to the passengers and override the audio entertainment system. Whole train or single carriage announcements can easily be made by the conductor while duplex speech between carriages and the driver make staff communication simple.

ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Mitron’s modular entertainment system uses MPEG2 and fibre-optic technologies that fully meet the requirements of the system integrator. TFT-LCD displays provide passengers with superb quality video while headphone panels allow the easy selection of DAT, CD, radio or video audio channels. Channel select and volume control are made simple using the vandal-resistant panel that can be easily integrated into the train furniture and the system can also be easily controlled via the conductor's touch-screen user interface.
