Ikusi Video surveillance system for the Malaga Metro and the first high speed train line in Turkey
14 units of the Malaga Metro and ten trains of the first high speed system in Turkey are going to include among their onboard systems a 100% digital video surveillance system developed by Ikusi.
This system, one of most innovative offered by the Company, includes on-board recording and is set up for Wi-Fi transmission of images from the train cameras to the control centre on the ground, and from the platform cameras to the driver's monitor, using new last-generation codification algorithms. The recording and subsequent transport of the images are completely based on digital technologies on mobile IP networks.
The application of these technologies therefore allows the integration of on-board systems with ground facilities through broadband communications.
This same system will be included in the project that Ikusi is developing for the high speed train line in Turkey which also includes the remainder of the on-board systems from the Company such as the information and communications systems, as well as the in-seat entertainment system to offer customized treatment to first-class users.
These two new projects reinforce the position of Ikusi as a global and integrating provider of systems applied to railways, both in platform and on-board facilities, for the domestic and the international market.
