Ikusi Information & Communication System for the Santiago de Chile Metro System

Ikusi has been selected to supply the information and communication system for 20 new nine-car units scheduled to come into service on the metro system of the Chilean capital. The system is based on the same platform developed and installed by Ikusi for the Mexico City metro, ie a tried and tested platform designed and adapted especially to meet the needs of the Latin American market.
This is the second project of this type carried out by Ikusi in the region, and it reinforces the company's position as a global, all-round railway system supplier on the fast-growing South American market, where there are numerous projects ongoing.
