Strukton Railinfra Wins First Project in Germany Independently

UTRECHT, 6 September 2006 - Strukton Railinfra has been awarded its first project in Germany on an independent basis. The contract is worth over EUR 1 million. Strukton Railinfra has provisional accreditation for working on the track in Germany, which enables the company to submit tenders for projects on the German market independently.
The project awarded comprises:
- Activities in the old and the new Mainzer Tunnel
- Activities on the Mannheim-Mainz and Frankfurt-Mainz tracks
- The installation and restoration of points (approx. 7 and 2 points with a single cross over)
- Several small adjacent stretches of track totalling approx. 725 metres
The project started on 1 September 2006 and is planned to be completed in March 2007.
In line with Strukton Railinfra's international ambitions, the company will submit tenders for more projects in Germany in the near future.
