New Case WX170 Roadrailer
09 June 2003 09:59
Rexquote have manufactured the first Roadrailer based on a new model Case machine. The WX170 Superailer was debuted on the CRMS stand at the SED construction plant show at the end of April and attracted much attention.
As well as the obvious visual changes, the new WX170 machine benefits from improved controls and lower emissions. The standard WX170 was launched in the UK at the end of last year but this is the first roadrailed version to be seen in this country.
Rexquote are UK market leaders in the manufacture of construction equipment for the railway. The company roadrail all types of mobile plant from lorries to dozers and have their own range of rail trailers and attachments but the Case 988 based Superailer and Megarailer, have always been their best-selling product Steve Morris, Managing Director of Rexquote said, “When Case told us they were going to change the Case 988 we were concerned about how this would affect our core product but the alterations Case have made have made us confident that the WX170 would be even better than it’s predecessor and take the Rexquote/Case partnership forward.”
Hydrex, the Portishead based plant hire company, have taken delivery of the machine and it is now available for hire. Alternatively if you’d like to know more about buying a new model Case WX170 roadrailer you can contact Rexquote.
