26 January 2006 16:58

Rexquote, manufacturers of road rail plant for the rail maintenance industry have recently delivered the first of an order of five Accessrailer 17s. These completely unique machines marry the chassis of a Terex all wheel steer dumper and the superstructure of the popular Niftylift access platform. The machine is designed to provide access to elevated structures for the purposes of construction, maintenance and repair.

The Accessrailer 17 has an incredible working height of 17m and an outreach of 9m.

Travel of the machine and platform positioning are possible from the controls in the basket. This enables the operator to have full control of the machine from the platform.

The machine is filled with biodegradable oil and has soft foam-fill tyres which are far more robust than standard tyres.

Readypower Engineering of Wokingham have ordered the first five of these machines, and are happy with their performance so far.
