A 120-strong ParaRail team is currently working for Network Rail and Southeastern Trains on a three-year, four-phase programme of refurbishment and remedial works covering 185 stations and 12 depots throughout Kent and southeast London.

Most of ParaRail's directors and senior managers are ex-railway building works managers with vast experience in building and M&E maintenance and an unrivalled knowledge of the railway environment, its operating procedures and safety requirements.

PTS-qualified technicians and engineers

These directors and senior managers are supported by a highly trained workforce of fully PTS-qualified and experienced technicians and engineers. All ParaRail employees participate in regular assessments, and safety and skills development courses, to ensure they remain at the forefront of best practice and Network Rail, TOC and other industry standards and requirements.

Safety, quality and environmental approvals

ParaRail takes a robust approach to safety, quality and environmental issues. As a main contractor to the rail industry, they hold a full Network Rail approved contractor assurance case, and their teams are fully competent in the railway environment. In-house competencies include COSS, lookout, hand-signalmen, barriermen and a D32/33 assessor.

In addition, they maintain fully approved and accredited systems for quality management (ISO 9001), health and safety management (OHSAS 18001) and environmental management (ISO 14001).
