Westcode to Supply HVAC Systems for the SILVERLINER-V Fleet

Westcode will design, manufacture and supply the air comfort systems for the new 104 car (plus options) SILVERLINER-V fleet recently contracted with UTS (the ROTEM company). The air conditioning systems will feature state-of-the-art scroll compressors with microprocessor controls and it will be integrated into the passenger railcar body.
The HVAC systems will be manufactured at Westcode's West Chester, Pennsylvania facility. Westcode is a leading supplier of HVAC and door operating systems. The company also designs and manufactures levelling and compensating valves together with other rolling stock products.
