Rollout of Ballastless Track in the Czech Republic

For the first time, a section of the railway network of Czech National Railways is being equipped with ballastless track. On the test section, approx. 1,000m between Třebovice and Rudoltice, Pfleiderer track systems provided its extensively proven RHEDA 2000® ballastless track system, as well as the required transition sleepers. Specialists from Pfleiderer track systems provided supervisory support for installation of the ballastless track system.
Czech National Railways is planning additional ballastless track projects with RHEDA 2000 technology. As a result, Pfleiderer has signed a license agreement with the Czech construction company ZPSV for the production of RHEDA 2000 sleepers.
