TELICE Electrification, Safety, Security and Installation of Railway Facilities
Since 1973, TELICE has been working in the fields of engineering, industrial assembly and maintenance, especially in the railway sector.
TELICE is responsible for the provision of safety and security, installations, civil works, railway electrification, and communications.
The company also has a range of products, including track measurement trolleys, for overhead lines and track parameters, monitoring and control systems of rail heating elements, and automatic equipment placements of communication channels in railway platforms.
Services for safety and security, civil works, railway electrification and communications
TELICE provides services relating to safety facilities through the installation and maintenance elements within the field through a level of detailed engineering, planning and purchasing, assembly, connection, adjustment, testing and start-up of systems and their maintenance.
In addition to signals, the scope of TELICE’s services include:
- Spanish railway protection system (ASFA)
- Track circuits and cables
- Assembly of mechanical devices (electrical activation)
- Wiring for cabinets and interlocking frames
- Engineering for point heating systems
TELICE offers turnkey construction directly for all necessary civil work to install cables and sub-channels, whether aerial or underground, including electrical, lighting and heating / cooling systems and other ancillary equipment.
The company also provides services as a main contractor for various railroad administrations and as a subcontractor for major industrial and construction companies to undertake construction and maintenance projects for railroad electrification systems. It carries out all engineering, calculation and manufacturing activities for overhead line hangers, assembly, laying conductors, and testing and start-up of CR-160 and CR-220 overhead lines, multipurpose or rigid, or high speed.
TELICE has been involved in major projects to develop the fiber optic infrastructure and provides similar services in connection with copper communications systems.
Track measurement trolley for overhead line and track parameters
The Telice tCat® workstation has been developed and patented by TELICE in order to survey and monitor overhead line contact (height, stagger and chord offset) and track (track gauge, camber and distance travelled).
Due to its speed, simplicity and accurate measurements, this pioneering system represents a great advance in this field, achieving accuracy and repeatability of the acquired data with consistent measurements and a time-saving of more than 50% against traditional methods.
The equipment has specific software, not detected by track circuits, has a battery life of over seven hours, is easy to transport and store, and is robust for use in adverse weather conditions. Thanks to these features and the variety of parameters that can be obtained, it is suitable for both government and private companies, and for the assembly and maintenance of overhead cables.
Monitoring and control system of rail heating elements
The electrical point heater solution, tElphe® was developed by TELICE and designed to prevent the problems caused by ice and snow which block switch points during winter causing serious rail traffic problems.
Depending on weather variables, the tElphe® system automatically manages the connection of the resistance, providing significant energy savings whilst always keeping the switch points free of ice or snow.
The system includes all the components necessary in order to supply electrical heating to switch points, instruments and control and monitoring equipment for the variables involved in its use.
Channel laying equipment
The Telice tCan® automated system, developed by TELICE, is designed to create continuous trenches and installation channels. It allows sections of the desired size to be dug with excellent quality installation. It can dig trenches of any size, resulting in a trench clear of rubble, where the deposition is performed, resulting in a perfect and a precise aligned placement.
Additional advantages are highlighted through cost reduction, exploitation of the extracted material, high output, grater production and minimum working space.
