Switch-mode energy conversion systems

Established more than 50 years ago by Royal Philips, Mitra E&I was among the first suppliers of switch-mode energy conversion systems. The company's equipment is used in power station infrastructure, signaling and control equipment, and platform screen doors of many international rail networks and subway lines.

Energy and infrastructure monitoring system

Mitra E&I designs single and multiple-output buses (DC and AC) in modular systems controlled by Comp@s, a low-cost advanced monitoring solution.

Comp@s has been specifically designed to offer superior monitoring and control of energy and infrastructure. It features MOD bus and CAN digital bus, enabling the control of auxiliary equipment and of course remote communication over TCP/IP in XML or SNMP protocols.

Software integration into larger systems is often a nightmare for integrators and end-users, so Mitra E&I has put a particular emphasis on ease of integration into larger control systems by using fully open and existing software. There is no need for any specific applications; just your standard web browser is enough.

Most projects call for the assembly of customized electronic systems. Complementary to its own energy design Mitra E&I offers to take on the burden of your logistic and supply chain management by sourcing and assembling your electronic enclosures or frames.

International ISO and IRIS certification

Mitra E&I takes the lead on quality standards. Among the very first companies to be ISO 9001 certified back in 1991, and the first company in its segment to be ISO 14000 qualified back in 2000, Mitra E&I has now taken the first steps towards the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) aiming to be among the first in the industry to be certified to this standard.
