TRACTION GENSETS

Our traction gensets were developed to supply railway vehicles’ traction engines with power. They are driven by high-tech diesel engines and actuated by an electronic control device. The control devices, cooling units and silencers can either be integrated into the genset or delivered separately, according to customer requests.

TRACTION GENERATORS

LECHMOTOREN’s traction generators were developed to provide railway vehicles’ traction engines with a power supply. These types of generators can be delivered in either a one-bearing or two-bearing version, according to the customer's preference.

Impregnation of the generator windings is performed with a modern current-UV light-dipping process, where monomerous-free impregnating varnish is applied. The electronic and control device is manufactured and delivered as a separate unit.

AUXILIARY GENSETS

Auxiliary gensets (compact version) were developed as an on-board power supply for railway vehicles. They are driven by high-tech diesel-engines and actuated by an electric control device. The control cabinets, cooling units and silencers are integrated into the genset according to the customer's preference.

AUXILIARY POWER UNITS

The gensets (compact version) were developed for the actuation of electric vehicles, which can be kept going when and where the overhead wire does not supply power to the vehicle.
