Grau manufacture voltage converters and battery chargers. Our product spectrum contains DC/DC, AC/DC and DC/AC converters with an output power range from 1W to 10kW, as well as customised power solutions and EMV services. We are leaders in the German and European market with our emergency starter modules for railway applications. These units have an input voltage range of 700V to 5,000V with output power capabilities of 150W to 350W. We offer application-optimised standard power supplies and also customised solutions. Our technical developments guarantee the highest customer satisfaction. Grau Elektronik engineers have a broad experience in power electronics, switch mode power supplies and converter technology. Detailed knowledge in the EMV sector ensures the quick realisation from the concept to production. CUSTOMISED POWER SUPPLIESThe Karlsbad-Ittersbach facility houses development and electrical performance tests, sales and marketing. Additionally, 15 experienced and motivated employees in development, CAD, construction and logistic departments provide solutions with a very attractive price / performance ratio. We realise solutions for customised power supplies in the shortest time, with all accompanying tests (temperature, EMV and vibration / shock). Close co-operation with the client guarantees optimal solutions are produced to meet their requirements. Grau Elektronik is certified to ISO 9001 quality standard. SINGLE AND DUAL OUTPUT DC/DC CONVERTERSThe Series BB DC/DC converter (Vin: 13.5V to 154V; Vout: 5V, 15V, 24V, 36V,± 15V or ± 24V) demonstrates a hold up time of 10ms and is suitable for both system and chassis mounting. RAIL DC CONVERTERSThe DC/DC converters are designed for railway applications and have a wide input voltage range from 13.5VDC to 50.4VDC or 43.2V to 154V. The output power is 60W or 100W. The converters can be used for different standard railway battery voltages (24VDC, 36VDC, 48VDC, 72VDC and 110VDC with ±40% tolerance according to EN 50155. The converters can be connected with an H15 connector, which can be switched on and off electronically by enable input pin. The output voltage is monitored against under and over voltage. The converters are no-load and short-circuit proofed. SERIES WBB: HIGH-EFFICIENCY CONVERTERSThe Series WBB high-efficiency converters have single outputs of 12V, 24V and 72V and a power output of 50W and 100W. The converters have a Vin of 14.4V to 154V (50W) 14.4V to 50.4V, 43.2V to 154V 100W. The DC/DC converters are designed according to EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2. All converters include an output current limiting stage and are no-load and short-circuit proofed. These converters demonstrate high efficiency; meaning reduced thermal losses, which provide an excellent MTBF value. The converters fulfil vibration and shock demands according to IEC 68, and all inputs are protected against reverse polarity connection by a parallel input diode together with a melting fuse.
