BUTYL RUBBER JUNCTION BOXES

All our rubber junction boxes are made of vulcanized butyl rubber. Vulcanized butyl-rubber is a reliable material for industrial use in aggressive environmental circumstances. It is ideal for protecting outside power supplies on, for example, railways.

GIFAS’ rubber junction boxes are strong and unbreakable. The stainless steel cover-screws ensure that the boxes remain free of corrosion, and the boxes are also dust-proof and water-proof according to IP65 standards. The junction boxes have a high temperature resistance (from -30°C to +80°C) and are resistant to all chemical influences, including oil, grease and a wide range of acids and bases.

Butyl rubber is self-extinguishing, and free of halogens and silicones. In case of a fire, the smoke emission from a butyl rubber junction box is minimal and contains no toxic or acid elements.

FIRE-PROVED JUNCTION BOX (BFA)

Frequent necessary clamping made in unsuitable clamping boxes, especially in dangerous environments, can lead to an additional hazard. GIFAS offers a solution to this dangerous solution: the E 30-certified fire-proved junction box. This fire-proved junction box ensures a stable current flow for 30 minutes in the case of a fire and it is necessary for smoke shutters, exhauster systems and emergency lighting.

The used material does not drop but smelts. The material is characterized by volume resistance and a slight change of surface appearance in case of fire.

The BFA fire-proved junction box is necessary for smoke shutters, exhauster systems and emergency lighting, and it is ideal for public buildings, parking areas, tunnels, theatres and hospitals.

PROTECTION TUBE LIGHTS

The KORONA protection tube lamp is a stable and robust product ideal for lighting working areas that need unlimited light. It is available in a range of wattages, lengths and voltages. It is also available with either acrylic or borosilicate glass, with a diameter of 70mm. According to IP67 standards, the KORONA lamp is protected against dust and water.

KORONA protection tube lights are ideal for lighting outdoor areas that are at risk from vandalism, etc. such as machinery areas, wet areas, tunnels, niches and sewage water systems. The sophisticated design also makes them ideal for areas such as courtyards, squares and halls.

SUB-GROUND POWER SUPPLY / POLLARD POWER SUPPLY

GIFAS offer a range of sub-ground power supply systems. Sub-ground and pollard power supplies are designed for power, water and waste-water connectivity. Our power supply systems can be customized to fulfil customer requirements: the power supply can be determined by the customer.

RAILWAY YARD EQUIPMENT

GIFAS offers a wide range of stainless steel railway yard equipment. Air pressure can be installed with GIFAS sub-ground power supply as well as with GIFAS yard equipment and GIFAS energy pollard systems.
