Peter Murphy will take on the joint role of Chairman and Managing Director at Pickersgill-Kaye’s parent company, Joseph Kaye Holdings, following the retirement of long-serving Brian Cooper who now intends to spend more time with his family and to travel.

In other management moves prompted by Mr Cooper’s decision to step down as Chairman, Paul Bertie has been appointed Managing Director of Pickersgill Electroplating, while Simon Barnes and Harry Griffiths will now serve as directors at Pickersgill-Kaye in the roles of Manufacturing Director and Sales Director respectively. Mr Murphy will retain his position as Managing Director of this part of the Group.

Gerry Murphy is responsible for engineering, technical purchasing and product support, while Dwiriana Setiati will be in charge of the whole Group’s services area including health and safety, quality, centralised purchasing and accounting and welfare activities.

To complete the reshuffle, Simon Barnes is named as Pickersgill-Kaye’s Manufacturing Director with responsibilities for manufacturing, maintenance, factory service and production planning.
