Hans Machineries of Kolkota India, manufactures high-precision engineering components for the railway sector. The company concentrates on producing metallic brake components and equipment for the railway and auto industries.

We also manufacture custom-designed components for individual customers from their own drawings and specifications. Our high-precision component range includes C3W air distribution valve bodies, gearbox casings, C2W intermediate bodies, BRIZEL (aluminium heatsinks), different types of shafts (case hardened and ground), and cams of different shapes - camshaft end brackets and camshaft blocks.

Established in 1997, Hans manufactures rotary faller gill drawing machines for the jute and textile industries. C3W AIR DISTRIBUTION VALVE BODIES

The C3W air distribution valve body is a vital part in the train braking system. The C3W air distribution valve body distributes air through the brake pipe to control the train. Once compressed, the air is distributed to all the bogies.

DISC BRAKES / ROTORS

The disc brakes (known as rotors in the US) are made of cast iron and are machined with CNC turning and CNC milling / drilling processes. The friction material, in the form of brake pads mounted in the brake calliper, are hydraulically forced against both sides of the disc, slowing down the disc. We have a wide range of rotors including slotted rotors and drilled rotors.

DRUM BRAKES

Drum brakes are manufactured from cast iron and machined on the CNC turning and CNC milling / drilling machines. The drum brake works in a similar fashion to the disc brake. When brakes are applied, shoes press against a spinning surface - the drum. Most cars are fitted with drum brakes on the rear wheels and disc brakes on the front wheels. Though drum brakes are less expensive to manufacture, they are harder to service as they have more parts. A major advantage of drum brakes is that emergency brake mechanisms can be easily incorporated.

CAM SHAFT END BRACKETS AND CAMSHAFT BLOCKS

The high-precision components of Hans include camshaft end brackets and camshaft blocks. Hans manufactures camshaft end brackets and camshaft blocks as per the specifications of its customers. Using CNC machines at our sophisticated factory, we can manufacture these products to a high degree of accuracy.
