Based on the leadership in the core business of level crossing systems in Germany, the PINTSCH Group has developed strong positions in other fields like door control and point heating systems. The PINTSCH Group intends to offer its wide range of innovative products, such as computer-controlled four-quad level crossings (RBÜT), high reliable and user-friendly point heating plants (PA-LINE) sliding door steps (DoorTronic®) or LED-based train indicators, increasingly outside Germany.

Computer-controlled level crossing technology (RBÜT)

PINTSCH BAMAG develops, manufactures, installs and optionally maintains complete level crossing systems including housing, power supply, battery charging units, peripheral elements like barriers, audible alarm, roadside signals, trackside signals and train detection as well as the control unit RBÜT, which is designed as a vital two-of-three computer system.

The chosen architecture results in a high safety level combined with high technical availability and low production costs. In addition, sophisticated diagnostic features lead to an increased operational availability.

The RBÜT supports all kinds of monitoring like AOC(L), AHB, ABC(L) and CCTV. PINTSCH BAMAG has a particularly longstanding expertise in the field of four-quad level crossing protection.

In combination with danger area warning systems, e.g. in the form of a radar scanner, the RBÜT system can be configurated as a fully automatic level crossing protection. Based on an approval according to the CENELEC process the first plant has been installed in the Netherlands.

Gas-infrared and electrical point heating systems

PINTSCH ABEN provides both gas-infrared and electrical-operated point heating systems to customers in many European countries. In addition to the local heating equipment (heating elements, power supply and distribution, micro-controller control unit, weather stations, control panels), PINTSCH ABEN offers complete local or regional area monitoring systems including control, monitoring and diagnostic functions, visualisation and long-term data acquisition.

PINTSCH ABEN supports all kinds of stationary or mobile data communication. Standardized modules are combined as needed to build specific plants for stations with one up to many hundredths of points.

Railway vehicle electrical and electro-mechanical components

Through its railway vehicle equipment department, PINTSCH BAMAG is a leading manufacturer of highly specialised, customized railway vehicle electrical and electro-mechanical components.

Outstanding expertise has been gained for several decades in the field of door control systems, including safety concepts, system engineering and the integration of the door system into several adjacent vehicle and train-borne subsystems.

PINTSCH BAMAG's latest product, a complete sliding door step system, has been developed recently and is already in use in several types of modern commuter trains, such as the Siemens VT 642.

Railway vehicle power supply systems are available in single and multi-voltage feed types ranging from 1kW to 100kW. Its components, such as battery charging units, inverters or high-voltage converters, can also be supplied separately.

Vehicle lighting (train indicators and rear signals) and current collectors

As a competent partner to railway operators and the railway industry, PINTSCH BAMAG takes part in the European railway integration process with multi-voltage power supply units, LED-based train indicators and rear signals according to UIC-standards, as well as gateway solutions to couple stand-alone-devices to MVB- and WTB bus systems.

Current collectors for commuter railways (type Krüger) complete the product range.
