Transmitton, the UK's premier supplier of integrated control and asset management solutions to the rail industry, will be on Stand 416 at Infrarail 2005 demonstrating the latest developments to its Remote Condition Monitoring systems.

Transmitton's proven cromos suite of real time control software, interface facilities and fastflex RTU hardware is the very latest generation of integrated control and monitoring. Transmitton's specialist key account managers will be available at Infrarail to explain how solutions are implemented across a range of rail industry projects, including its comprehensive Remote Monitoring (RM) system for Metronet Rail's Central Line Signalling at 47 sites covering 49 stations.

Key benefits of Transmitton's Remote Monitoring systems include:

  • Remote access: from anywhere, at any time. Faults can be diagnosed while travelling to site.
  • Integrated Replay feature: faults that have already occurred and cleared can be replayed for accurate diagnosis.
  • Safety: failures can be cleared promptly minimising disruption to passengers and reducing overcrowding on platforms and trains.
  • Investment return: can reduce Lost Customer Hours cost attribution and abatements and improve investment return.
  • Asset downtime: significantly improves service for passengers by reducing asset downtime.

Transmitton will also launch a brand new interface between its cromos suite of real time control software and ADT Rail Systems' OnTrack monitoring package. Transmitton acquired ADT Rail Systems Ltd ¹ earlier this year, one of the leading suppliers of condition monitoring technologies to the rail industry.Transmitton continues to strengthen its position in the UK and won the Enterprise Through Innovation award and been voted Business of the Year in the recent 2005 Leicestershire Business Awards.
