With Spear TouchPoint software and TouchPoint Kiosk hardware, anyone can access their Spear 3i system to perform basic tasks with the same ease as using an ATM. ASSET, TIME, WORK AND PARTS MANAGEMENTSpear offers four TouchPoint applications: Assets, Time, Work, and Parts. These applications enable your maintenance workers to view equipment records, clock in and out of the property, record work performed and order parts. TOUCHPOINT ASSETS™ - VEHICLE INFORMATION AT YOUR FINGERTIPSJust like checking your account balance at an ATM, you can walk up, have your ID card read, point to a vehicle number, and immediately see all the information for that vehicle displayed. With TouchPoint Assets, vehicle information is displayed in real-time, including last PM information, work-performed history, open work list, warranty conditions, usage information and notes recorded on the vehicle. TOUCHPOINT TIME™ - TIME-MANAGEMENT SOFTWAREYour maintenance crew can clock-in and clock-out of the property using the same TouchPoint Kiosk. When the kiosk reads your ID card, you automatically clock-in and the system will create a daily Spear 3i timesheet for you. Using the TouchPoint Time application, you can enter time against work order tasks that automatically post to the timesheet, creating a full account of the day. As the kiosk automatically reads your ID card at the end of your shift, the system clocks you off the property and closes the timesheet for the day. TOUCHPOINT WORK™ - MECHANIC'S TASK-MANAGEMENT SOFTWAREThe TouchPoint Work application is a mechanic's workbench with touch screen simplicity that provides a real-time display of your assigned work order tasks. You can select a task and clock-on the job. When finished, you can select the task, enter your work performed, before moving on to the next task TOUCHPOINT PARTS™ - STOCK-MANAGEMENT SOFTWAREWith the TouchPoint Parts application, while at the kiosk, you can create a 'shopping cart' of parts you will need to complete your work. The system will automatically print a material pick-list in the storeroom. Parts issued from the pick-list are automatically posted to your work order task. VERSATILE, EASY-TO-USE TOUCH-SCREEN SOFTWAREAll Spear 3i TouchPoint software applications are easy-to-use, fast and accurate. The applications are all designed for workers who can't spend time at a confusing computer terminal. The applications are designed to give and receive information quickly and easily.
