The TN series provides a variety of features tailored for rolling stock: for example, gigabit Ethernet provides the real-time video or voice communications bandwidth required for passenger entertainment and security related applications. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) is supported, which simplifies the complex process of train-wide cabling. In addition, excellent redundancy features produce a high level of reliability.

Moxa Turbo Ring™ technology has a fast recovery time of less than 20min to ensure non-stop operations in a ring topology, and the bypass relay function guarantees data transmission in a linear topology. The wide power input range also makes the series suitable for worldwide applications.

Industrial wireless AP/bridge/client for trains

Moxa's EN50155-certified AWK series supports Turbo Roaming™, with a fast handover time of less than 100ms. For railway applications, Moxa's Turbo Roaming enables seamless wireless connections under the mobile conditions of ground-to-train communications. Additionally, the AWK series comes with wireless security protection, a wide operating temperature, long-distance communications capability, PoE and a M12 vibration-proof connection, making the Moxa AWK series an ideal system for deploying in wireless networks for rail traffic applications.

Industrial IP cameras for trains

Moxa's VPort 15 industrial IP camera conforms to the EN50155 standard, which means the camera meets the reliability requirements demanded by the railway industry. These requirements include the ability to withstand EMC, shock, vibration, temperature fluctuations, humidity, and power supply variations.

The VPort 15 has a compact design and surface mounting system to provide for a stable and robust installation, ideal for mounting on the curved surfaces and soft padding of trains. The cameras feature M12 connections and IP66 protection to stand up to the continued vibrations, humidity, and dust found in buses and trains, and the -25°C to 55°C wide operating temperature range is designed to handle any temperature fluctuations.
