TERMINALS

Weidmüller offers an extensive range of terminals with screw-type connection (SAK-Series, W-Series), tension-clamp technology (Z-Series) and IDC - insulation displacement connection (I-Series).

A large number of our products has been tested according to railway standards e.g. EN 61373, EN 50155, NF-F 16101, ASTM-E662/152.

WeiCos - TERMINAL BOX PLUG-IN CONNECTIVITY

WeiCos (Weidmüller Connection System) is the new generation of terminals combining both terminal block and plug-in connection technology. This combination of technologies achieves an efficient, modular, functionally flexible and manufacturer independent wiring concept; this means that prefabricated functional units such as lamps or door controls, mounting plates and switchgear panels can be connected to the existing installation, error-free and in seconds - simply by plugging the plug-in connector onto the terminal.

HEAVY DUTY CONNECTORS

The optimum connector for each application: Weidmüller's large selection of heavy-duty connectors allows you to solve your special connection tasks efficiently and with technical perfection.

In addition to standard HDC products, Weidmüller offers RockStar housings and HEE inserts specifically suitable for railway applications. Benefits include:

STUD TERMINALS WF, WFF AND ST 4000

Stud terminals from Weidmüller are designed in a compact form and ensure a safe connection for energy transfer for cross sections up to 300mm². Low voltage drop and self-extinguishing material classified as V0 (UL94) guarantee safety.

The WF and WFF series can withstand voltages of up to 1,000V (up to 2,300V with epoxy resin partitions) and the ST 4000 can even go up to 4,000V. This has been certified by international railway standards such as EN 50303, EN 50155, NF F61-017, NF 16-101 and Ria 20.

SWITCHGEAR ELECTRONICS

Weidmüller's product spectrum contains all the necessary electronics products for tasks in and around the switchgear cabinet: conditioning, switching, isolating, protecting and supplying.

TOOLS

High-quality tools are indispensable for high-quality connection technology. Weidmüller's stripax® is renowned as a top-quality professional stripping tool. Our range of tools (certification available on request) also includes cutting and crimping tools, screwdrivers, testers and automatic machines.

SENSOR ACTUATOR INTERFACE (SAI)

Weidmüller's SAI distributors with four, six, or eight connectors are available as:
