New Ordering Guide Focuses on Rail-Industry Connectors

25 June 2008

Franchised assembling distributor PEI-Genesis has brought out a new ordering guide for the CIR series of rail-industry connectors manufactured by ITT Interconnect Solutions (Cannon and VEAM).

Specifically designed for the hostile environment of rail and mass-transit applications, the versatile CIR series is available in an enormous range of styles, sizes and configurations.

PEI-Genesis holds stock at piece-part level and, within 48 hours of receiving an order, assembles the connectors to meet the customer’s exact requirements.

The new 28-page guide serves as a handy quick-reference tool for creating a part number, with connector variants listed by both shell size and number of contacts to make it easier for customers to specify the right connector for their application.

The guide also includes key technical specifications, line diagrams of the various shell styles, and a section detailing the comprehensive range of crimp contact assembly tools available for the CIR series connectors.

The CIR series ordering guide can be obtained by contacting the company (see the link below).
