LPA Appointed European Agent and Distributor of Fullriver Battery Manufacturing Co. Lead Acid Gel Traction Batteries for Rail Vehicle Applications

LPA Group, the lighting and power application specialist, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed the exclusive agent and distributor for the European Union and all countries in continental Europe west of the Ural Mountains including Turkey, of traction batteries for rail vehicles manufactured by Fullriver Battery Manufacture Co. Ltd. of Guangzhou City PRC.
The appointment will run for a minimum of five years from 1st January 2006.
Fullriver manufactures a wide range of batteries for industrial and leisure applications using lead acid gel and other technologies.
LPA designs and manufactures stand-by power supply and distribution systems for locomotive and other rolling stock applications, which incorporate batteries including those manufactured by Fullriver. LPA will continue to design and supply power supply systems incorporating lead acid gel and other technology batteries. LPA will now promote Fullriver lead acid gel batteries to the principle rail vehicle builders and operators in Europe.
