TMJ

TMJ - Rail Sawing, Cutting, Drilling, Deburing and Measuring Machines

Pilous–TMJ was established by amalgamating three prominent manufacturers of bandsaws for metal: Pilous-pásové pily, spol, and TM Jesenice servis. The new company has expanded its sphere of activity to cover special rail saws. Its products are suitable for a wide range of railway cutting applications.

Two-saw rail-cutting machine

The TMJ carbide circular saw, a CCS 660 rail-cutting machine, uses two 1,400N/mm² circular-saw blades together with drilling tools, both with edges made from sintered carbide. The upper circular-saw blade allows chamfer cut and the lower circular-saw blade is designed for a perfect rectangular cut with modicum burr within railway standards. Cutting, drilling, deburing, measuring – one machine does it all.

High power rail carbide circular saw

The rail-cutting machine's base is extremely hard, resistant to deformation and is designed to absorb vibration. The machine's frame has extra hard welded construction optimized according to up-to-date knowledge of vibratory technology. This ensures high cutting power and cost-effective circular-saw blades.

The machine uses contactless feed reserve-motion circular saw blades, driven by an independent, optimally dimensioned gear with spur gearing drives. A spring ball screw and linear guide for the saws ensure a smooth cut. A hydraulic clamping device works centrically with the vertical clamp.

No metallurgical modification is required, because the surface cut stays cold. This ensures no cracks will appear in the rail's outer surface.

The CCS 660 rail carbide circular saw is specially designed for three-shift operation. It has very high cutting power, and is extremely cost-effective. Swarfs flow out of the machine by way of a conveyer.

The rail carbide circular saw is equipped with a Siemens S7-OP300 control system.

Rail drilling tools

Up to seven holes can be drilled in an individual piece of rail using the CCS 660 rail carbide circular saw's drilling tools. The automatic exchange drilling tools can be from 16mm to 40mm in diameter.

The CCS 660 rail carbide circular saw is 4,000mm wide, 4,040mm long, 3,750mm high and weighs 22,000kg. Its working line is 1,000mm.

Customized rail-cutting machines

The CCS 660 rail carbide circular saw can be custom-designed to meet the requirements of individual customers.
