Brand Alloys is a 'captive unit' equipped with a modernised steel foundry, R&D lab, machine shop, assembly and structural shop. Established in 1996, the company gained expertise and skills in metallurgy, casting, machining, fabrication and mechanical engineering to serve its customers efficiently. It has a fully established design and drawing office including the latest software capable of undertaking total engineering work of tailor-made equipment in mechanical and structural engineering.

Our heavy engineering unit has been designated as 'Class A' foundry by RDSO, a premier quality assurance institution of the Indian railway and has also been accredited with ISO 9001: 2000 certification. The unit is fully equipped with modern machinery capable of producing any sort of sophisticated castings such as Had Field Mn - steel, low-alloyed and high-alloyed castings including stainless steel, high chrome, cast iron, ni-hard and SGCI.

STAINLESS STEEL AND HEAT CORROSION-RESISTANT STEEL CASTINGS

The stainless steel and heat corrosion-resistant steel castings are manufactured by Brand Alloys as per IS-4522-1979 for heat-resistant applications. The 14 grades are determined as per the requirements of each product. The heat corrosion-resistant castings are generally stainless steel. The distinction between heat resistant and heat corrosion-resistant cast steels is based on carbon content.

ALLOY STEEL CASTINGS AND CENTRIFUGAL CASTINGS

Alloy steel castings are provided by Brand Alloys as low to medium alloy steel castings in chrome, alloy steel castings in nickel and alloy steel castings in molybdenum. The alloy steel castings are used for different critical applications such as pallet frames for sinter plant and hollow balls for pulverising mills. Alloy steel castings are extensively used in key applications including tooth points for coal mining, hammers for hammer mills and crusher ring for coke cutters. They can also be manufactured to customer specifications.

The alloy steel castings are available ranging from a few kg to 15t single pieces. We manufacture centrifugal castings of different sizes according to customers' requirements, ranging from 100mm to 800mm in 3,000mm length with various wall thicknesses.

GENERAL ENGINEERING STEEL CASTINGS

Brand Alloys provide general engineering steel castings as per the IS-1030 standard for various general uses. The general engineering steel castings are suitable for pigmoulds for pig casting machines, drop balls, blast furnace bells and railway castings. The company provides general engineering steel castings in three grades ranging from a few kgs to 15t single pieces.

We have provided services to all steel plants in India, cement plants, sugar mills, oil refineries, the textile industry, thermal power plants and the Indian railway.
