INTERIORS

Matting: 3M Nomad™ floor mats are hardwearing and very easy to clean. They are designed to hold dirt and water away from the floor itself and keep the floor looking cleaner for longer.

Anti-slip products: 3M™ Safety-Walk™ slip-resistant tapes provide a hard-wearing, high visible, non-slip surface for passenger access points and throughout the train to enhance driver and passenger safety.

EXTERIORS

3M provides a wide range of coated abrasive and surface conditioning products to meet the needs of both production applications and day to day maintenance, repair and overhaul situations. Choose from hand pads, rolls, discs, wheels, belts and various bench area products. We also offer a complete line of accessories to optimise product performance.

STRUCTURES

3M Scotch-Weld™ structural adhesives and 3M VHB™ acrylic foam tapes reduce noise and vibration, eliminate the use of mechanical fasteners, increase aerodynamics and produce greater rigidity. They also give increased design scope and reduced corrosion, allowing for 20 times less failures than with previous fixing methods. 3M Dual Lock™ re-closable fasteners can be used in the assembly of interior panels and structures enabling removal for repair and maintenance followed by easy replacement.

MAINTENANCE

Coolants: an effective coolant is essential for performance and reduced maintenance costs. 3M Fluorinert™ electronic liquids are non-flammable, non-corrosive, low in toxicity and compatible with sensitive materials. They are the perfect coolant for the modern electric locomotive.

3M Novec™ engineered fluids are environmentally safe, high performance cleaners for electronics and mechanics.

Graphics: with Scotchprint® graphics, vehicles can be easily transformed into high impact, moving advertising media. DI-NOC laminates are used to refurbish rail interiors at reduced cost, whilst a wide range of anti-graffiti and anti-vandalism solutions protect against abrasion, impact and harsher forms of vandalism.
